High Bridge Ride for Alzheimers

1st Annual High Bridge Ride. A bike ride on the High Bridge Trail in Farmville, Virginia to benefit the Alzheimer's Association's "The Longest Day." The entire ride is an off-road Rails-to-Trails route. You choose your ride. Choose a Family-friendly 10 miles or plan a 30 mile out-and-back or a 100k Metric Century.

The VCU Health Cap2Cap on May 12, 2018 is the 13th annual bike ride fundraiser organized by the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation. All proceeds from the event support the Foundation's goals of continuing to enhance, promote and advocate for the Virginia Capital Trail. The start and finish of the ride will be at the historic Charles City Courthouse (10780 Courthouse Road Charles City, VA 23030).

Ride of Silence

On May 16, 2018 at 7:00 PM, the Ride of Silence will traverse and unite the globe as nothing before it. Cyclists will take to the roads in a silent procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways. Although cyclists have a legal right to share the road with motorists, the motoring public often isn't aware of these rights, and sometimes not aware of the cyclists themselves.

Tour de Chesapeake is a family-friendly cycling event located in Mathews County, on Virginia's Middle Peninsula. The supported ride is all day on Saturday, but we hope you will make a weekend of it and see all Mathews has to offer. We have lined up a whole assortment of things for you to do on Friday, Saturday and Sunday too!

The first day concludes in Colonial Williamsburg, VA with the Smithfield and Richmond routes coming together to head into the finish line and enjoy a scrumptious feast, massages, musical entertainment and an evening program. Day two begins with a hearty breakfast before cyclists head back to Smithfield/Richmond and their respective finish line.

Climb to Conquer

Climb to Conquer Cancer offers the competitive cyclist three experiences:

Competitive climbs up iconic Libby Hill, made famous in 2015 Worlds. You will compete based on the average Strava times of two climbs of this hill for age-group awards and King of the Mountain/Queen of the Mountain awards. Can you earn the right to wear the Polka Dot Jersey?

An urban ride through the 29th Street corridor of Church Hill, site of the upcoming 29th Street Bike Walk Boulevard project.

Your choice of a scenic ride on the roads through Historic Battlefield Park and in the countryside and beyond, or an off-road ride through the trails of the James River Basin.

Cycle for Life (Cystic Fibrosis)

Get your wheels in motion and join us Sunday, October 28, 2018 for our Central Virginia CF Cycle for Life bicycle event as we ride through some of the most picturesque and scenic terrain in the state. CF Cycle for Life is a fully-supported ride with route options of 25 and 65 miles. From breakfast to our cycle post party, you can enjoy fully stocked rest stops every 10-12 miles, bike mechanics for bicycle maintenance and repair, ride marshals to cheer you along the way and plenty of support vehicles to help you complete the ride. This unique event empowers participants to take action and demonstrate their fight in finding a cure for cystic fibrosis in a tangible, emotional and powerful way.
