RABA will once again be participating in the Ashland Holiday Parade. This is a fun event that helps to get the club's face out to people that would normally only see us as in their way.

The parade is sponsored by the Ashland Kiwanis. The parade is Sunday November 19th. Anyone interested in riding with the club please contact Wes Surina (wessurina@gmail.com ). We have a limited number of spots that we can use. We will gather at the parade start between, 1:30 and 2pm. The parade starts at 2:30, so all participants will need to be at our assigned start before that. We have spots for riders and for walkers. I would like to have enough walkers to carry our RABA banner this year.

I had the pleasure of riding in the parade last year. It is a great experience to ride along with people waving at you, and children pointing. This is an excellent opportunity to show how much cyclists contribute to the community and portray us in a friendly environment.

Pace for this one is Family. There are no rest stops and the distance is only about 1.5 miles.
