Description: This will be a challenging 46 mile route, with 2700 ft. of climbing. We will begin at the Hoover Ridge Park off Fairgrounds Rd. and Primary School Road near the town of Madison. We will cross Rt. 29 into the town of Madison and the proceed through the scenic Hebron Valley to the very foot of the famous Old Rag Mountain. Our store stop will be Etlan and the Community Store there. From there we will head to the little town of Criglersville, and then back through Madison to Hoover Ridge Park. Traffic will be light with the possible exception of the several miles near the town of Madison. All roads are well paved.

Let's plan to gather at the Rockville Park and Ride prepared to leave there by 8:30am. After the ride, we will head to Iron Pipe Alewerks in Orange for great local craft beer and pizza.

There is a significant mile and a half climb (294 ft.; 3.5% average grade) at 8 miles into the ride. There are other shorter climbs throughout the ride.

Barry would love to have other folks prepared to lead faster or slower rides.
