We’re going to be doing our second New Rider Ride for 2021 on Saturday June 12 at 8:30 am. This time we’re starting at Dorey Park (2999 Darbytown Rd, Henrico, VA 23231). Park in the lots near Shelters 1 & 2 at the very rear of the park.
We have some great ride leaders that have volunteered to lead different pace groups and distances. We will have routes that go from 20 miles on up, some of them using the Virginia Capital Trail. We will have groups for every level from the slowest to the fastest riders. These are no drop rides; we will not be leaving anyone behind.
For those of you that are not accustomed to riding in a group, we will be having a quick class to discuss hand signals, bike etiquette and vocabulary before we start pedaling. This will help you understand the things that are going on with the other riders around you and make it safer for you and them. Look for Sam Cox’s silver Toyota Highlander.
